Went to buy set of silverware which would cost around 700 euros. The employees here are awful. I think these ladies in chiado store can learn a bit from their colleagues in Porto or any other VA shop. Horrible attitude and rude. I will spend the money in another Vista Alegra shop. Never here. Shocking!
Very friendly, although I only made a really small purchase (just one cup), the clerk took time for me and aided me in my search for a fitting gift. The wrapping was really well done for beeing free of charge. Mugs from here make a good high quality souvenir with decent, yet "Portuguese" looking
designs and the wrapping is suitable dir Transport(especially by airplane) Don't be scared away by the posh look, the wares are relativly reasonably priced(of course not the real artisian products).

Excellent collection of porcelain and tableware. Prices are high but not outrageous (ok... they have 2000 euro plates but there are reasonable items too). Staff is quite helpful and patient when placing orders and they can ship (deducting the 22% VAT directly) for a reasonable fee.
Horrible place. All the staff were busy wrapping gifts at the register. No one else catered to incoming customers. I’ve seen many leave. We left as well cause we waited over 20 minutes and no one acknowledged us.

The sale assistant was laughing at my problem about the horrible quality of plates I bought less than a year ago.
I spent 25min waiting and after asking for the manger ... nobody showed up.
It’s clearly horrible and people like that should never work in commercial areas.
Special mention for the cheap nails art in a house like Vista Alegre that normally represents the Portuguese art de vivre.
